Our Mission
The Institute for Latino Studies, Research & Development, Inc., (The Institute), is a non-profit entity, recognized by the federal government as a 501 (c) (3) organization. The Institute’s main undertaking is to empower Latinos in New Jersey through access to information, advocacy, and
implementation of programs that have a positive impact on the local communities.
The Institute demonstrates its commitment to this mission by becoming an effective community resource, which enhances the knowledge, and awareness of Latino endeavors within the framework of a multicultural society. Through unity of purpose of our Board of Directors, staff and
dedicated volunteers, we help forge a brighter future for the Latino community in New Jersey.
