Investigative Journalist Nuria Piera to Speak at CODA’s 10th Annual Conference
Newark, NJ — The distinguished journalist Nuria Piera, known for her investigative reports in the Dominican Republic, will speak at the New Jersey Conference on Dominican Affairs on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at the Rutgers School of Law in New Jersey.
“It is an honor for me to address Dominicans in New Jersey about the role of investigative reporting as an agent of social change.” (Es para mi un honor ir a hablar a los dominicanos en New Jersey sobre el periodismo investigativo y su efecto en la sociedad),” said Piera over the phone to CODA President Maria Teresa Feliciano.
Piera will travel from the Dominican Republic to New Jersey and plan to attend CODA’s Conference welcoming reception on Friday, February 19, 2010 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Paterson Museum located on 2 Market Street in Paterson.
